I would argue that it's true that multiple teams relocating can negatively affect a sports league's image and its reputation as being a sound investment, but if he's taking it personally as you're saying then he really isn't helping, with his gigantic stubborn bobblehead.

they're basically stuck in a sunk-cost fallacy, they've been trying to make it work there for so long that they don't want to back out anymore and would rather wait until things are brought up to par with the league's standards to say "we knew it would work eventually" lol.
