I assumed 10m per, but not shocked seeing 11m.

Now Power will probably get the 4.5-5.5m bridge depending how his season goes.

The have Thompson and Cozens signed long term for WAY under market.

Dahls wanted 5 years. Team wanted 8 for 80. So here we are

Hes worth every penny. Not many can do what he can. 6th year and wont be 24 until April.

Perfectly fine with this signing. A little higher than I thought but now Sabres have a nice core locked up long term and a freaking ridiculous prospect pool. Things are absolutely looking great for the Sabres future and my sanity.

The guy had an excellent year last year and he’s 23. 11 mill is nuts though. He’s coming off a great year but he doesn’t deserve to be paid like a franchise player yet

He’s not worth “every penny”. He’s talented. Had a career year last year. But that still couldn’t get his team into the playoffs. He’s a 9-9.5 million dollar range guy right now.

It’s an overpay, but it’s fine. He’s a stud, and if BUF’s humiliating playoff drought continues, it won’t be because they overpaid Dahlin by $1 - 2M

If they start the year strong, it might be time to consider biting the bullet and moving Skinner’s contract. Just a matter of how many picks they’d need to attach, to entice a team like PHX to take on that $$$

They still have 33mill in space next year, Sabres have enough ELC'S and 1st contracts coming through that it shouldn't be a worry for 3 to 5yrs if it even becomes one. If Skinner keeps producing I don't think you worry about him until the end of his deal.

Why would you move Skinner? Apart from a cpl years when the worst coach in league history tried to make him a checking forward, the guy gets 35 a year.

1. 35 a year.
2. guy NEVER gets hurt
3. total agitator
4. Team has ZERO cap issues.

Why they getting rid of him again?

Tell me you dont watch the Sabres without saying you dont watch the Sabres.

For those of you saying he's only had one year of production:

What is a Ralph Krueger? Recording breaking rookie seasons be damned, if you aren't familiar with his work, this wasn't your part of the show.

Yeah, no one should pay for star players. That's how all the cups are won.

13 years in the league and he’s put up 35 goals exactly THREE times

Yup, guy’s a lock for 35, lol

30 goals or more 5 times, 40 another year and just had the best season of his career. In 2 years his actual Salary goes down to 7mill and then 5mill. His cap isn't hurting us right know. He's a buy out candidate that last year.

This is what a projected contract looks like. No, he's not an 11-million-dollar player right now. And the Sabres are banking that he wont be by year 4 of the contract either...if you know what I mean.
