Funny thing is that if he were drafted anywhere other than 1st overall, most people wouldn't feel that way. He's not a bad young player, he's just likely not ever going to live up to the kind of player you want to select with the 1st pick in a draft.

My point is that the way the Conference is, a little slip can bounce you from 6 to 14 quickly. a 100 pts and you could still be on the outside looking in.

I cannot believe KO is still playing with some of his bad injuries. He was a good Islander and like most of the players, could have used a much better coach.

The Buffalo coach is going to start catching heat if he cannot get the team to play better.

I’m about to hop onto a four-hour flight with no internet, but hearing there has been progress between Devon Toews and the Avalanche on an extension. Toews would have been a highly-coveted UFA next summer. We will see what today brings.
