They need speed instead of Gally.

With Dvo coming back in a couple weeks, who sits? Not Ylonen...

- Symba007

If it's about putting the most effective players out there, you sit Gallagher. At least that's what it was after the first game.

But we all know it's a difficult decision to make so Ylonen might be the guy.... or Pearson....

We'll also need to waive somebody.

Let's hope tampa has traded or picked someone on waiver (goalie) so the Habs can send Primeau to Laval

it's OK, he's only signed until 2027 with a cap hit of 6.5M. Hard to move him or buy him out until the last 2 seasons

I feel you brother. I'm tired as hell this morning.

Even watched part of the Winnipeg/Calgary game.

I have no hesitation saying it was his best game.

He was involved in the play, controlled the puck, used his size and his stick to create turnovers....

He only had 1 point but deserved a 2nd one on the 2nd Newhook goal because his play led to that goal.

If he plays like this all season, the points will come for sure.

When Slaf is twenty, he will be playing and producing just like Rantanen does for Colorado! Such a great pick.....but it takes time, eh

this will be a theme this season

the d is way too green

I think it also has to do with forward responsibilities, too.

I like the "think offence" first approach, but they cannot abandon defensive responsibilities.

I am pretty sure TB is going to go with the 2 kids and try to keep as much cap space for the trade deadline... both are likely better options (or at least equal to) Primeau.

So unless it goes south fast, do not expect TB to get a goalie... no real cap space for a decent solution.

Too bad we don't have Shea Weber anymore to slapshot his hand into oblivion.
