My friend was at the game (she has season tickets), she said the place was nuts.

They really did a good job with the fan base / creating excitement compared to other expansion teams.

But they made going to the game an actual event.

A lot of teams should look and learn from that, if they want to grow their markets.

it's Vegas, everything is an event there, sure they added some glowsticks and knights playing drums but the location has a lot to do with the atmosphere there imho.

Guys are developing, takes time to draft, develop and slowly transition to the NHL, that's why a rebuild is usually 5yrs before you see the real benefits...and that's if you drafted well. We should see progress with some of the young guys this year, hopefully the team is healthier than last year.

5 years is too long…. We need to see the Habs a contender in 3 years, including this one..

With the cap and the fact that the league is a youngster’s league, things need to unfold faster than in the 90’s…
