We've gone over this. The Leafs have bad D, bad goaltending, soft forwards who don't play D, no depth and bad coaching. The reason their goals against was 5th best overall was because the NHL sucks.

The guy lets in less goals per game than every other goalie in the league except Linus Ullmark, but he's not a good goalie because he doesn't save them in the proper order?

Would it be better if he made the big save at the right time, but didn't make a save at an inconsequential time, even if it meant allowing the same amount of goals?

Ya you’re probably right - hockey people (those in and around the game) have been saying poop that doesn’t make sense for a while. Sammy is a definitive legit nhl starter all day! Caps were fools to cut ties.
