The thing is, I like a lot of the bands. But what they don't do is, for example, put on a full album by Smashing Pumpkins, or Green Day. No, it's 1979 and Disarm. It's Basket Case and Good Riddance and Wake Me Up When September Ends. Just the high rotation radio tracks. They just can't get enough of the radio. It's (frank)ing crazy.

I put on Gregorian chants and delta blues and 45 minute drone tracks to try to expand their horizons on Spotify, but then its right back to Zombie by the Cranberries and Jeremy by Pearl Jam.

I don't care what sport it is, you should never take your foot off the pedal... unless, maybe*, it's toddlers playing.

They write really good hooky choruses so for sure.

Early in the season especially, why not put your PP1 out in a blowout? It's practice at that point. The other team should play harder if they don't want to keep getting beaten down into the dirt. Sometimes you're the windshield sometimes you're the june bug no point in complaining about it.

I mean they have good music, but I don't know if it's jump around music - like Stadium Love, for instance is a great song, like Breathing Underwater or Gimme Sympathy . . . but while the first is thematically great and the other two aren't, I'm not sure if it's jump up and down music like the energy you want to create.

The players pick the music for the warmup skate. If you've been to a game lately during warmup, you don't want them on the decks for goal songs.
