Better than I expected, but with some common rookie mistakes. - Glak18
I liked seeing Brink on the half wall on the PP. |

Frost, Brink and Tippet only got about 13 minutes of ice time, would have liked to see them get more time. Top forward minutes went to Couts, TK, Cam and Cates. At least ND only got 10 minutes. - jd250
This scenario was as predictable as the sun rising and setting each day.

Looked like the same bad player he was here |
|
|
|
Yes he signed him to a long contract that in a few years will not look as bad when the salary cap goes up.
And maybe Sanheim surprises us all and plays better not that Provy is gone.
Still trying to figure out what you meant: "How about that Travis Sanheim 26 hard minutes. Ivan who? Chucks finest work." - WhiskeyMan
again if you can't figure it out then oh well

Coors almost 4 minutes more than any other forward. Quite a remarkable stat.

he will run him into the ground. Most peeps knew/know this will happen. I get it to an extent but this early? why not ease hi into those heavy minutes. |

It was a pretty even spread of TOI at ES w/ the forwards. PP2 didn't play too much and Tipp and Frost don't PK, so guys like TK, Cam and Coots shot out ahead in the totals.
Also looks like Torts is gonna ride Coots' FO ability this year in the dzone -- guy got a lot of extra shifts b/c of that. |

Provorov getting dummied for two EN goals against was wonderful. I wonder which of his new teammates he's blaming for them? |

Walker scared me more than Staal, he was probably the worst Flyer last night. - Glak18
He's more of an offensive dman, playing higher up in the lineup because the presumed #3/4 Risto is injured.

I actually turned it off , had no idea they scored and then we scored after Atkinson ENG. who was it? Before that, we got caught on an icing, not sure who was out |

i didn't think provie was bad for them, only minus two bc the two empty net goals for the minus 2. he had one big reverse hit, but wasn't that much jabber with him. then he got extra shifts due to zac going down.
cam score the empty net. then columbus scored with about 30 or 40 left on the board. tk go tthe other empty net with like .2 secs left. both he and cam beat out provie in a foot race, but he was out there a bunch the last 2-3 mins. |

It was the same old Provorov. Mishandling pucks, off target passes, bad on the PP throwing off timing. I saw everything up to cam goal, but thanks |

Former Flyers defenseman Ivan Provorov says Flyers were 'making my game worse'. I'm sure glad Provey got his game together in Columbus as I watched Cam blowing past him for the game winning goal. Ya, good compete there Provey! |

Yes, and this makes sense. It was a good first game, the Flyers at least had the puck a lot more in this game than in about any game last season, and faceoffs have a lot to do with it. |

Yes but for good reason. The 4th line only played 12 minutes in the game, and ND only 10 minutes, and if this continues that will be a pleasant change. Some thought Torts would ride the 4th line a lot more so I'm glad at least for one game that did not happen. Still, I have no problem seeing Peohling and Hathaway out there, especially on the PK. |
