Vinnie Damphouse made an interesting point the other night, he said that Anderson was "out of sync" with the 2 amigos.

He said Anderson just goes full speed and doesn't sync his rushes with the support of the other 2 guys whereas Monahan was a more intelligent player and knew when to push. Not a bad take IMO.

yeah, Monahan could very well end up there, but I think he might be more useful to the habs at center for now, we'll see. Vinny's analysis does indeed make a lot of sense, as Anderson doesn't necessarily have the same "hockey IQ" and isn't as creative as a guy like Suzuki. still I don't think they've been completely turrible as a line so far, and Andy does have the tools to at least make some adjustments.

Voila, Anderson doesnt have the hockey iq needed to ride sith those 2, Monahan does…

And im suggesting RHP because he has played ce ter in the past and the second line is just foo good with newhook…

Thanks DP for quoting me

if they put Monahan on the first, they have to put Newhook as the C on the third, untill Dvorak comes back

RHP could play on the 2nd, he played with Dach and Slaf in preseason

thats what I would do if we need to change things after a few games

but Im a chicken

I wonder what MSL's shelf life is... I am sure he is safe for the next 2 years or so, but at some point, he needs to become a much better in-game coach (or have much better assistants to support him. Or likely both!).

I think he is a solid development coach and good for this part of the re-build.
