I'd say more that his extension was stupid.

I'm disappointed that his tenure became this. He was super hyped as a developing 7th round pick, crushes the AHL in his first NA season, comes here starts with solid power play offense, looks to be developing his overall game.

And then, the Age of Ralph claims another victim. Except most players recovered from Long Ralph symptoms, not VO.

it was low risk for a guy who provided offense and had more to prove in his own zone. In hindsight it's garbage but at the time, it was whatever. It was at a time where no one wanted to touch this team with a 10' pole.

i dont know if this borders on conspiracy, but I think they would rather have stillman playing big minutes to develop himself a bit more than have bryson there. I still think they like Stillman more and don't give a poop if Bryson rots on the bench.

I don't know, Stillman has already been scratched in Rochester for Cecconi. Sabres have to many down there if they want to do that. Johnson and Novikov seem to be the big minute choices with Metsa

Don hinted this morning that he'll be making some changes if necessary. It's a read into it comment, as he discussed getting Cozens going and Peterka playing well without mentioning VO, which to me is his implied target. He doesn't want to ruin chemistry with pairs, and Mitts line is doing real damage, and the Thompson line is getting chances. So you're left with swapping Jost for VO, riding VO till Savoie, or letting Krebs sit up there, which is something I don't think they want to do.

Gotta remember though, in Rochester, the veterans take a back seat to the prospects. Novikov and Johnson will always play, at the expense of Clague, Stillman, Cecconi and Davies.

Extremely busy, my youngest is having some pretty significant health issues, my oldest is playing travel hockey on two teams, one of which I am coaching, and my boss is retiring at the end of the month so I have been in meetings non-stop for me to take over for her.

I am coming up to Buffalo the first weekend of the month, my daughter's team is playing in a tournament.
