we have not heard sh!t about the other Russian, Poltapov but he seems to be having a much better season as well

Gonna take a stab at it. For one, they think they'll lose a goalie on waivers and they don't want that to happen yet, if at all.

I believe it's because they want to give Levi an extended viewing, see how he holds up over the next 30-40 games. If he proves he has the stamina for 50 games, they may just open up the trade lines for Comrie or UPL. If not we could see a larger rotation in the back half of the season if Levi starts to become exhausted.

Yeah I follow Kris Baker, he talks about him often, I guess he's doing pretty well over there. He doesn't figure in for another two years, and unless he starts absolutely torching the KHL, I can't imagine the hype train will run through Buffalo.
