Jesus if that's the plan I would rather see some other players. Maybe they could add a bit more. What a waste of Cap - Buff36
The refrain has frequently been these deals are only for one year, so it's not a big deal, but it's a waste of a year.
Not properly supporting young players has been a top Sabres issue since the Eichel draft.
We heard countless times last offseason that they were focused on finding Power a quality D partner.
We heard similar with finding Levi a quality co-starter.
What do we see for the above?
Jokiharju, Comrie and UPL.
Same old story that Sabres fans are accustomed to. - kingcong39
There wasting valuable Cap space on guys that not all of them need to be here. Your system is obviously built on speed, if your gonna do it then do it. Bring up Rousek and Biro and go with speed. Atleast they both have good 200ft games and can stay on there feet. Jesus I watched Okposo loose a board battle to a guy on 1 knee.
The development of your #1 goaltender at the NHL level will cost the team the needed points for postseason play.
Now, for the most part the teams the same from last year and the additions this year shouldn’t be enough to disrupt the team. The Sabres should’ve had better play from its core players. - MLew65
Levi was certainly NOT the reason we lost last night and was fine in game 1. What’s cost us the first two games is our #1 line is pointless and -2 or -3, Clifton is a disaster, our “veteran shutdown” line can’t the puck out of its own zone (last night they had an amazing 94% expected goal against when on the ice) and our best player is an 18 year old
Goes back to Dahlin as well. Never got him any support and Ralph surly stunted his development - Gr8daygo
If you look back on Dahlin development it's hard to say Ralphie did anything to his help or hinder him. He made some great offensive plays and some very bad defensive plays. I remember him early as one who looked good one moment and bad the next. In my opinion he's still not great defensively but has matured to be a very good offensive guy. If Donnie was the great development coach as I've heard one would think Dahlin would be flawless now.
I keep going back to this but as bad a coach Ralphie was he had balls. They should have let him run Skinner out of town and KA would have another 10 mil to blow on his buddies. I've got a six seater bus ready to go. Who's on it? KA, Donnie, Skinner, Okposlo, Girgles and the Joker

Rather keep Donnie, send bales and that defensive stiff… and bring back Peca
