They beat a very weak Hawks missing its 2nd best forward. If Seth Jones shot with a few seconds left was two inches to the right it would have been a tied game. Wins are wins, but this one was nothing to rave about. - -Doh-

the habs are still in a rebuild process right now, they aren't a powerhouse either, I don't see why fans shouldn't be happy about this regular season win.

On the positive side, the Habs totally dominated the first 2 periods (shots prove it). Our 3rd line showed up for the game and were very good.
On the negative side they have a tough time protecting leads, the Hawks came out strong in the 3rd. Monty was excellent and we can thank him for the win. |

Yeah, we've already allowed 3 goals in 2 games and it cost us a win against Toronto. |

Keep Slappy and let’s see what this Fowler kid can do!? By the time he’s ready….the Habs may be at the beginning of their window??
No need to trade the number #1 overall for a goalie right now. |

Dead chicken soup might be more appropriate in this case. |

I agree, chicken soup when the chicken is still alive is a rather cruel concept anyway. |
