They beat a very weak Hawks missing its 2nd best forward. If Seth Jones shot with a few seconds left was two inches to the right it would have been a tied game. Wins are wins, but this one was nothing to rave about.

the habs are still in a rebuild process right now, they aren't a powerhouse either, I don't see why fans shouldn't be happy about this regular season win.

On the positive side, the Habs totally dominated the first 2 periods (shots prove it). Our 3rd line showed up for the game and were very good.

On the negative side they have a tough time protecting leads, the Hawks came out strong in the 3rd. Monty was excellent and we can thank him for the win.

it was 6 vs 4 at the end of last game vs Chicago and the Hawks did not score

but yeah, they almost blew a 3-0 lead
