"Sacres" are considered stronger in Canada than the foul expressions common to other varieties of French, which centre on sex and excrement (such as merde, "poop").

Initial word I'm receiving on Canadiens' Kirby Dach is he has a torn ACL+torn MCL in his knee. There are more tests being done, and we'll wait for Habs to officially confirm once they're received all the info, but this puts Dach's season at risk if it ends up being the case.

I really honestly thought they could not have a 3rd year in a row with that many injuries. unbeliebable.

yeah, I think he's not a fan because it tends to block the drain in the shower.

a low-fiber diet could probably help smooth things out.

I was under the impression that fibres help you poop regularly but also tend to make your poop harder. I'm no scatologist so I could be wrong.

you can switch Anderson and RHP, as the latter is slotted to be on the 1st line for now.

Money for Newey
Gallagher for Yolo

And probably Armia somewhere.

at least there are a few interesting combinations MSL can try and play around with, obviously Dach's absence is gonna hurt but he has some options to do some tweaking with the lineup.

and as for Armia I think there are folks who need their sweet dose of scapegoating hate, so that's a positive I guess.

well RHP already confirmed he'll be playing with Caufield and Suzuki, so unless he gets hurt between now and the start of next game (*touche du bois*) they'll be playing together tomorrow night against MIN.

yup, another guy who deserves his spot in the top 6 so far, he seems really motivated to play in MTL and get opportunities that he might not have had as much in COL.

what I read is that MSL wanted to create duos at camp.
Caufield and Suzuki
Slaf and Dach (replaced by Monahan)
Newhook and Anderson

1st period almost over and Matthews does not have a goal yet.

yeah well it makes sense, a lot of coaches around the league (if not most) work with that in mind and establish set duos. of course you can have a defined line of 3 guys that you know work well together but often there's a more apparent chemistry that will stand out between 2 of them.
