I think it's just the Canucks regressing to the mean, they weren't going to be as good as they were game 1 and 2 so this is just a correction and we'll end up 2-4 or 2-3-1 by the end of the road trip as expected.

Canucks don't have a lot in the system for players that aren't soft either. Sadly, Bains might be the only player that has shown a willingness to do what it takes more often than not.

When the Canucks want to sign Bear, they might as well just put Myers on waivers and give that cap hit to Bear.

Obviously QH and EP aren't going to be the Tkachuk's of the hockey world. For years it has been just wanting the puck more than the other team that hasn't been there. Teams like Philadelphia that aren't skilled so they work hard. In the end they win because teams like Van did last night, take the night off.

There is a lot of perimeter play from the team, they have no one that wants to go to scoring areas. I look at the heat maps most nights and it's gross how there is a nice warm glow around the Canucks goal crease but there is barely a light at the other end.
They can do it, showed it in the first game. Far too inconsistent.

Won't have an issue with that tomorrow, we all know the Canucks will be the team that wants them to feel better and won't try again.

There seems to be some movement on the Conor Garland front; hearing a 3rd team could be in play. Talks w/ teams like #Preds #AllCaps #CBJ & at least 1 more Eastern team are ongoing. The #Canucks want this done sooner than later, but $$ is a big factor. How creative can they get?



Hopefully they get a player with grit back.
