How soon before the co-GM has to intervene again? This is a complete joke. - StepfordSam
This is very simple. Briere has to step in and set Toetorella straight. He can either play the kids or resign. Or be fired. If Briere is on board with this. He can go too! Same with Jones.
Tortorella " we're going to play the kids". 4 games into the season. How many young players have been scratched?

DB created the problem by bringing in Hathaway, Stahl, Poehling, and Walker - Dkos
Poehling I have no issue with. He's a 25 year old 4th line center.

LMAO. The same basic numbers you supplied are the ones that you've objected to. After two games, which are the only two games Frost had played. Tippett had worse numbers than Frost. Tippet's numbers went up after the Vancouver game. Which Frost did not play in. Your words that you're a "numbers" person are hollow and unsupported in reality. The very fact that you used an unbalanced sample, shows that you are not a "numbers" person - MJL
You are trying to deflect now, because the numbers show that Frost was one of the worst performing forwards in the first two games. You can't argue with the numbers so you are just trying to discredit me again. As my accountant cousin always says, Numbers don't lie! |

Don’t disagree. Another reason why I wanted them to trade players like seeler last year.
Staal was a safety signing imo. As they weren’t sure about the kids I’m guessing. Agree with others that 3 d men won’t get traded, but hope at least two go this year. Andrae should be getting minutes in the a if not playing. Right now seeler or walker should be sitting. Don’t think they will sit staal. |

He is a monster, 6'7" who has elite skating ability. Good defender but not overly physical. Definite top 10 with top 5 potential.

Again, hysterical. I have not once denied what the numbers state or that Frost did not play well in the first two games. What discredits you is how you blow off the same numbers when there were discussions on other players such as Sanheim. Who you stated can't defend when he had the best defensive number last season. Or with Ristolainen when you claim that he is the best defenseman on the team. When the numbers were shown to you, you tell people they need to watch the game. Now it's numbers don't lie. Can't make it up. I don't discredit you. You discredit yourself. |

I go to two games a year and I have watched 3 of 9 total periods this season. I also forgot the game on Saturday was an afternoon game.
I have watched more of the Senators and Oilers this season than the Flyers.
I am doing my part.
