I think miller Schneider and chytl have been flat out bad and floating with zero production. Kakko and Laf haven’t been bad but again each have 1 point in 4 games. It’s all about production for them. Wheeler has to go.
I would move both Laf kakko plus for petterson. Kakko will never be anything more than a 2nd line winger. Kakko can’t be the talent but can play with it
Laf is a 3rd liner imo. - nyrangers2
If you're a Canucks fan, I don't think you'd take Chytil, Laf, Kakko, and a 1st for Pettersson. Plus they'd need to move even more money out to Pettersson. |

Can we pump the breaks on the autist trade scenarios? |

I didn't bring this up. I just responded rationally. If I were the Canucks anything sort multiple first round picks and can't miss prospects is a no. |

Not sure he is going to resign there bc they are terrible. Might be one of those things where they need to move him and get pieces back |

1. Becasue he needs a new deal.
2. He's been non-commital in interviews about his future.
3. Becasue he's a name.
I don't think they'd every trade him, and if they did the offer would have to be so over the top that Rangers would never win the deal. |

If he refuses to resign the may be forced to trade him so they can get pieces back instead of him walking for free

He's not gonna walk for free. He's an RFA. The Canucks just need to tender him. Which they will. |

Hope I'm wrong, but I was worried, it aint the "system" its the players as a whole. Only 1 game but that piss poor effort was so reminiscent of last year. |

Well he thought it was the players since mid way last year. Core isn’t it and the young players haven’t hit their pre draft hype. Players will get moved this year if they don’t figure out by game 25-30 |

Not really, a lot of fans think it was cause GG didn't have a system. We will see, but I lean more toward the players. Hope im wrong |

Its just a bunch of guys good enough to make the playoffs on the back of one of the best goalies in the world. |

I wasn’t a huge GG fan but the effort issue was a problem with him and Quinn. |

It’s what I said earlier. This is coach 3 now for the core. They can look like the best team in the world one game then not give a shyt the next. At this point if it doesn’t change soon have to consider what moves they can make to change it up |

Pretty much. I mean I get they aren't gonna look like superstars every game, so I definitely want to see where they are by Thanksgiving. My issue is the lack of effort in games they lose. Its like no one gives a poop. |

Yep last night they were just going through the motions. Once they realized Nashville was going to make it tough for them to generate offense that was it |

I am trying not to overreact to a loss early in the season but we have seen that don’t care attitude too much over the years. If you are going to lose at least go down fighting. Why I was fine with the Columbus loss. They threw everything they had at them in the 3rd but just couldn’t score to tie it |

Yup, who said years ago, playing for the Rangers was like playing for a country club?
Hopefully Lav starts benching people and calling them out. A good portion of this team seems too comfortable losing with no effort |
