I think some of us are just trying to enjoy ourselves watching the game and our saturdays
I watch to stay away from negative crap in the world or in my life
no idea why some of you are even watching - deadpoulet
at times reading some comments here makes me ask that exact question as well lolll.
but I think it's simply another way of showing their love for the habs, they want them to be good and win championships so they'll point out what isn't working to get rid of some of the frustration that comes with not winning... |

Wait, so you’re saying anyone critical of the things they see on the team shouldn’t watch or comment? That literally makes no sense.
The sensitivity….wow. |

If there is a TV show I complain about, I don't watch it.
That's what these games are. TV shows. |

yeah, sorry if I describe it this way but it's not anything against you personally, these kind of comments just sound very "whiney" to me, and I see them literally all the time here, it is what it is.
for me it's not about considering something as a "positive" while it's clearly not, but rather about focusing on other things that the team actually did well, especially after a win.
to each his own, as you say - Pat1993
Appreciate the class response. We don’t have the fundamentally agree on everything. And appreciate you explaining further.
Thanks Pat 👍

I get what you're saying, but I'd argue that sports are a different thing, they're a live event where you can be happy or pissed your team won or lost, unless you really don't care and watch for totally different reasons. |

Again, this makes literally zero sense. You can be critical and point out faults of teams you support and follow and still watch the games. It’s not all roses and sunshine. |

no worries!
ironically you could argue that I whine about the whining in here, so...
anyway I like when people don't agree about something but don't turn it into a big argument either, it's a rare occurence on the interwebz.

Martin St-Louis: there's so much positive, and sometimes it's hard when the media would rather focus on just the negative.

Agreed, a rare occurrence for a disagreement to not devolve into something pointlessly bigger and female dog at one another lol.
On a hockey related not, I thought this was Suzukis best game of the season so far outside a couple loose handlings of the puck. He made some absolutely beautiful passes.

are you also making hockey bets?
and another also, that kid cheering for the oilers looked so (frank)ing intense in his celebration, it's as though you could see his testosterone levels drastically rising as he's screaming his lungs out. |

yup, agreed on Suze, the coach said he needed to be better and he's definitely getting there. it's not that he was horrible in previous games, just that the expectations are very high for a guy with that kind of talent. |

That behind the back pass to spring Caufield in the second period(I believe). Gorgeous play. Yeah he hasn’t been bad, but he could be so much better than he was in the first few games. |

really eh, they're that unpredictable?
I think that's in part why I love hockey above other sports, unlikely things can occur more often than in baseball or basketball for example.
or maybe it has nothing to do with that and I'm just getting high. |

The guy I was most excited to see this year. Was hoping this was the year he stayed healthy. Instead he got sidelined for the year on a clean beauty hit from Tinordi.
I’ll give Dach another year to see if he can stay healthy finally. Otherwise, it might turn into a ‘it’s just not meant to be’ for him. |

I guess the "silver lining" if you can call it that way is that his recent injury isn't related to previous ones, so if he fully recovers from it it'll just be a matter of moving on from that (frank)ing poopty bad luck.
