Pinto can head to Vegas and keep gambling on nhl games and be suspended longer before frost gets back in. |

Anyone on here ever own skates?
Team is playing great, and all ya talk about is a soft kid who is being outplayed by his teammates. Maybe when he gets back in the line he will decide to buy in.
Torts is a great coach. My favourite since Hitchcock. |

How do you know Frost is being outplayed by his teammates? He hasn’t had a chance to play.
The coach can find a way to get him in the lineup he just doesn’t care to. |

I am somewhat disappointed that Torts has now dragged this into 5 games for Frost…hell, sit down Poehling , move down Laughton and let Frost get some games in…I’ve watched that 4th line start the season somewhat respectable but the other night in Vegas they looked over matched.
I am also on board with Andrae getting more time in Lehigh. I think he has looked over matched and you can’t put a young guy in that position. I’m sure he’ll get his game going as an all situation d man playing 20 plus minutes a night.
Positives so far for me:
1). Sanheim.
2) Brink and Farabee.
3) Hart
4) Zamula
5) a healthy Coots and Atkinson. - landros 2
Good list on the positives. What a night for Brink!

I'm embarrassed for you. Every player would be outplayed by his teammates if he's not in the lineup. How can a soft kid lead his team in scoring over a 56 game stretch? How can a soft kid lead his team in ES scoring for a full season? Tortorella is a jackass.

So happy for the kid. He’s been great this year. A real piece moving forward I think. |

Yep, good to see. Fun to watch. He has been a bright spot to start the year. Scoring is up a bit so far. |

Brink basically kicked the door down and earned a spot on this team, and he's making the most of it! Good for him! They had Boooooosh on Sirius/XM this afternoon and he said that Sanheim put on 20 pounds of muscle over the summer. Looks like it's paying off so far! An impressive 27 minutes of ice time tonight. Could the Flyers have found their #1 defenseman? Nah! I always like to look at TOI and Brink led all forwards in TOI. Very interesting distribution of TOI among the forwards this evening. |

I don’t have expectations for this year but the team has played well and is quite fun to watch. More than I expected. Side note. Watching rangers oilers. Man. I know mcdavid is out but the oilers suck. |

Mine are hung up in the rafters.
Frost has to earn his playing time or get it through someone else's injury. |

Yes, Tortorella is a jackass for scratching Frost in the first place and keeping him out. They could go 82-0 and that wouldn't change that. There is a bigger picture here.

I used to watch Sanheim when he played for the Calgary Hitman, and they would play the Victoria Royals. He was the TEAM leader, not just the #1 dman. He was all over it...he even fought...threw the body...he never seemed to take a night off when they played in Victoria. His twin brother played on those Hitman teams too, but he was no where near the player Travis was. I really don't think he has come close to his potential yet. I get that he isn't a young player anymore, but I think with the right opportunity he will rise to the occasion. |

I am still waiting for someone to explain how a player “earns it” while in the press box.

The team is a point out of first because everyone has bought in. They are overachieving. Dummy fans wanna tank for a draft pick.
The players don’t tank. They’re fighting for their spot and their next contract.
Other than the Sens game this is the best ( my favourite) 7 game stretch in 2 years.
Don’t be embarrassed for me.
You obviously didn’t own skates. I get it. |
