I think DOC has had a nice game. Could have scored at least a couple. Solid all around for him, but we need him to start finishing

Can’t wait to see that fancy stat that Colorado should have won.

HDCF are 11-3 Avs, xG are 2.6-1.6 Avs.

He’s been hounding Makar and giving him zero space on the breakouts.

This is what we saw in the preseason. That line is really finding their groove quick.

One of my Avs loving buddies just messaged me to congratulate the Pens for containing MaC and Makar so well and mostly keeping Avs to the outside all game... He's not used to seeing it Hahaha

I missed the first but that seems pretty fair. Kind of impressive with the penalties and the 3rd period lead.

That 3rd and sometimes even the 4th line were pressuring every shift.

Missed the game, was out doing a haunted hayride... but am I seeing from that one graph that Carter was our best goal scoring chance this game? Jeff, old as hell and cooked, Carter?

I would swap Rakell and Rust. See if we can get the first line really going. Zoho has seemed to help make ourselves a decent bottom 6 line. Dubas gotta pull something else off though to help the bottom 6.

I think it might be more of a swap of Letang/graves for petts/ek. If rust and malkin are on the same line there might be a fight over who gets to try and skate through the whole other team.

Guentzal had a couple nice looks this game, he really needs to bury one.

Any stat that has Carter front and center is a good stat.

Penguins played a great game. Good to see bottom 6 get a goal.

Trade the bum and while we're at it, trade Jarry also.

Seems like the formula for the Pens winning is to lose the expected battle. Every game the fancies say they should win, they lose. And vice versa.

Weird. The deserve to win o meter says the Pens played better. And they had a higher xG. I guess it makes sense Philly fans can’t count though. God damn degens.

My bad, read the meter wrong. That's what I get for posting before coffee.

I didn't get to watch the game, got home too late. Was Ruhwedel really that good last night?

For what its worth...I let my 7 year old stay up to watch the 1st (might have to every game now...) and he actually commented on how fast and good #2 looked a few times hahaha.

EDIT: should also mention he said "Dad I thought Crosby was way better than this" : /

Pretty cool you get live unbiased analysis while watching the game.
