The whole process is dumb. It’s way harder to kick a puck In with your skate then shoot it with your stick. You should be rewarded for kicking in a puck. The fact it’s disallowed will never make sense to me

NHL players have EXTREMELY sharp skate blades. If kicking were allowed, goalies would be in great danger. The NHL ( rightly so ) recognized this and made it illegal years ago to simply protect goalies from having serious traumatic injuries.
Why the NHL can't make proper rulings on goals like last night mystifies me given the current level of technology to help them see the play so clearly....
