Well when the system was centered on "win the game" practices and then when they don't win, it's "why didn't you win, play harder". Everything is a revelation on HOW to win at this point.

Also, leave Othmann where he is. Makes no sense to call him up IMO. Kakko and Laf look like they are actually developing into their roles and understanding of what they need to do to succeed. Don't move the furniture just for the sake of moving it.

LAF is gonna need more PP time to get 50. Maybe if he replaced Trochek on PP1, he could definitely be flirting with 30 with how things are going.

Of course we're all hoping for a breakout year, but let's pump the brakes.
As the season continues, need to see Laf consistently generate more shots on net. He's not going to shoot 40% for the year. Mix in more PP time and the confidence continues to grow and the chances will follow.
Also, if Trocheck wasn't the best faceoff specialist we've had in 20 years, he' be facing a lot more criticism.

Tro takes some bad penalties but besides chytl and Panarin he’s the only other player with good zone entries.
