question is...if he wants 5M/yr for 4yrs....still do it?
or do you trade him at the TDL and tell him they want him back next summer? - Symba007

Pretty sure we can afford 5M for 4 years.
The bolded almost never happens.

I know for the trade and resign. That would be the ideal position for MTL from an asset point of view but not sure it is realistic.
Let's see how he does until February...all options on the table. |

you guys seen to believe that Mohanan won't test the market and take the best offer he'll receive. if he stays healthy and has a good season... difficult to imagine he won't hit the jackpot. history has shown GMs go crazy for centers on July 1st. |

Let’s just say, I bought the ticket insurance as it’s next October. 😂🤣 - Snots33_77
We ain't getting big acts in my city. We had Rammstein a couple of months ago and I actually met a couple of British guy (because they loved Palusz) and they were saying things like "what a random place to have a show". |

Remember when people said that Drouin was gonna hit the jackpot because he signed a cheap contract to play with Mackinnon? |

Well the concerns about his health won't disappear even if he plays a full season so I'm not convinced he's break the bank on a long term deal.
There's also a reason he came back to Montreal, he seems to give an importance to the "fit" he has with the team after going what he went through at the end with Calgary.

yeah, no
but I agree, habs fans act as if mtl is the only team that will make an offer to him
but thats what fans do when they want to keep a player
if he wants to win a cup short term, hes out of here |

For me, it has to do with a mostly healthy season, playing close to 80 games.

If the Habs want to keep him, my guess is a deal is done before the season is over, in the spring.

Mmm the first ones to bring the full tour items as I recall.
The first Big 4 of Trash Metal band was Metallica at the Spodek in my town. |
