He Stinky from what I hear!

Last nights game looked too much like Sabres hockey last last 12 years including some games this year. Glad they won. Hoping these points help and the team plays better and this gets put behind us. It's time to start seriously competing in this league every night.

They got 2 points last night when they didn't deserve any.

Evens things out a bit.

Thinking that high/mid first round picks have more potential is not dismissing Peterka in any way.

Who is a top 6 lock next season? Tage + Skinner and Cozens or Mitts. We've seen Tuch, JJ, Quinn, and the other C all on the thrid line. Add a couple high prospects to that mix and you can balance 3 lines much better than today.

and I think you're dismissing the talent that got them drafted that high.

High 1st rounders usually have an easy path to the NHL. What's happening here might be unprecedented and it doesn't seem like they even have a plan. These kids are pushing now.

Go with the flow and extend Mitts, Joker, UPL, and Krebs. Would leave them with something in the ballpark of 10m to add 7 players (many ELC's). What does a good trade even look like next offseason? Depending on how the season goes, maybe you need a better G? Move on from Krebs and get a veteran bottom 6 C?

Guess CF doesn't project Quinn, since he's on IR. Couple other easy projections to make. Point still holds, not much roster room, not much effective cap room (if you extend guys).
