Powerplays have become so repetitive throughout the league, there needs to be change.

The breakout is stupid, the drop pass is stupid, the umbrella is easily defended, rinse and repeat. All that talent limited to a league wide used system that all know how to defend.

Switch to the Overload foundation, put Power and Dahlin up top and let them cycle sides, Tuch/Cozens rotate strong side low man and net front while Tage plays rover finding open ice for the one T.

Generate creative puck movement out of the cycles and find open ice, the stationary setup is dead.

Hell no. If its 5mil a year for joker than im gonna spend 2 mil more and find a better and different style defenseman than what we have.

Dahlin, Sammy and Power are here to stay.
Clifton will be here 2 more years as a 5,6

Novikov or Johnson should take 1 spot next year. We have a few guys we srafted this year that can be on the team in 2-4 years.

Find a vet free agent or someone that has 3 years left on a contract than sign Joker for 5mil a year.

Like with Joker doing better in less ice time. IMO Samuelsson would benefit from a reduction in ice time as well. Guy makes some boneheaded plays.. usually towards the end of games.

They're still only 23 and 24. D tend to take some time.
