Like I said, the 4th line needs work. Finding a quality 4th line is not the heavy lift people make it out to be. The bigger lift is actually doing it.

Look at the revolving door of linemates they've saddled Cozens with.

They paid him $7M per. Time to stop (frank)ing around and help optimize his performance.

The top 9 won't be done for at least another season, if not two, if you are only looking internally for solutions.

I would argue that hoping for the GM to be aggressive to add the one additional piece at forward and defense to help elevate the team to the next level is based on seeing all the good in the team, and wanting that good truly supported.

Acting like patience is the way to being a good fan is nonsense.

I'd play him on the 3rd line for the rest of this season to ease him in after his injury and surgery, then reassess next season, but as much as I like both Peterka and Quinn, neither would stop me from adding one more high quality forward, because I am much more invested in supporting Cozens, the guy they identified and locked up long term, over a couple of prospect forwards.
