This team is cooked because of the 2 things it has been lacking for the last 14 years. Defense and goaltending.

UPL gives you a good start or two but otherwise sucks huge donkey balls. He literally can’t stop a breakaway and is 0’fer for shootouts. How is that possible! Commie can’t stay healthy and again is a career backup, Levi while I think will be good has NO business being in the NHL. He should be in the AHL learning how to play the pro game. We have run player after player out of this town because we refuse to spend draft capital in a player that will actually make a difference. For
Me it’s time for GMKA to go.

We are loaded with young high draft pick talent. Use that to go get a goalie. We will never be able to fit all the talent in our line up anyway. It’s time to be buyers.

Bryson should have been traded or waived years ago. VO should have been traded last year. Why are we carrying him if we are not going to play him. I’d rather give one of the kids a shot over carrying VO for “insurance”

Rearranging the chairs on the titanic

Think tonight is Savoie's last game in Rochester for his rehab assignment, so they could technically drag his 9 games out Until World's Camp. Benson I think depends on how long he's on IR and if he's allowed a Rehab stint. Should be close, still has 3gms he can play to.

I believe they have the option to call them up after world juniors either way. Haven't been able to find that written anywhere, but I believe it's true.

At some point, they will need to stop messing around and let them play consistent hockey somewhere. I hate the idea that being injured and playing sporadically is somehow a positive.

Not sure if this topic has been raised before- but what are the feelings about letting Michael Peca walk away to the Rangers? Were the Sabres protecting Granato from a perceived threat? I don’t notice any difference in Granato’s demeanor whether we are up by 5 or losing like we did last night. No passion, accountability or urgency. Last night’s post game was yer another word salad of crap from Granato. I am really starting to feel our coach is a decent development guy, but not an NHL coach

Not sure if this topic has been raised before- but what are the feelings about letting Michael Peca walk away to the Rangers? Were the Sabres protecting Granato from a perceived threat? To correct something I’ve been saying wrong all week. Smarter ppl than I have informed my Savoie’s conditioning assignment is a straight 14 days. Not 5 games OR 14 days.

So today will be his last AHL game.

IMO it was a mistake, a coach who has been through the Wars is a asset. He could have taught so much more than what are Current playing Leadership Can't.

Johnson will play as will Levi. Granato said they got good news on Samuelsson as he won't be out long-term
