Donnie on starting Levi 4 straight games and getting him hurt, what an absurd answer.
“I wanted him to feel some grind and quick preparation and quick turnaround and battle, so I think he gained a lot of experience from that that’s going to help him the rest of his career, really, the first time going through that.”

This is so insane, agreed. Like, Donny...you started him in like 9 of the last 13 games last season. This wasn't his first shot nor was it something that we should've been doing to start off a year.
Us goalies go cold a bit over summer, have to get back into the thick of it and starting three games in a row isn't the way to get ready. UPL was no different, had two great starts then a clunker. Looked tired. You'd think he'd have learned his lesson, but I gave some pass as Comrie/Levi were hurt. Levi was backing up for that 3rd game though...
Well I actually said before I wouldn't mind seeing VO with Krebs because of what I thought he learned from are Leaders. But I have changed my mind, Krebs and VO together might Suck the whole rink into the Void

Shouldn't Power + Dahlin kicking in be included?
Just take the overview from CF. 64m allocated to 12 players. 23m of space. Figure 11m for Mitts + Joker. Leaves 12m for 9 players. Even if most of those are ELC's, there's not much space. - Lunaion
Yea the cap crunch starts next year not in 3 years as I've seen some others state.

Kreb,Void,Rousek - 20games for a total of 2 assists. Dont even think they were primary 😢
2022-2023 vancouver high dancer scoring chance save percentage: 81%
2023-2024: 94%
vancouver is giving up the 4th most high danger chances in the league (more than buffalo) and has the highest save percentage in the league on all of them.
last season they were 11th in high danger chances against, but 24th in save percentage
lazy stuff - robz228
Yes, it is lazy because your response is IDK, goalies are hard to figure out.
Think Mitts is the big question and how much does he want on a LT Contract. - Buff36
I don't understand the desire to sign Mitts long term. Cozens is already signed, while this year, and the back half of last season has shown they thrive in the same role, same position in the top 6. Why do you need to commit to this when there are massive voids in the roster that need more attention?

Next deal is likely to buy some UFA years, so you have to make some kind of comitment, if you want to keep him here.

He keeps this up for the year, he's either getting traded or a long term extension. They won't Reinhart him.
Plus I think he has two RFA years left. Won't get into that barn burner again but either way, he'll get a long extension. Or traded. I'd say 90% signed.

I'd be shocked if they traded him this coming offseason.
When was the last time the Sabres ever sold high on a player?
