I don't understand the desire to sign Mitts long term. Cozens is already signed, while this year, and the back half of last season has shown they thrive in the same role, same position in the top 6. Why do you need to commit to this when there are massive voids in the roster that need more attention?

Well that's the decision they will have to make, he is playing very well. If he's locked up long term than decisions need to be made quickly on certain prospects. Takes away Cap and another top 9 spot

Plus I think he has two RFA years left. Won't get into that barn burner again but either way, he'll get a long extension. Or traded. I'd say 90% signed.

Tage = puck possessing, perimeter handling, shoot first player. He will dangle to the middle if allowed. He uses his speed and size in an attempt to control the play.

Cozens = puck carrier through zones with speed, likes the high circle shot or looks weak side pass. He will dangle to the middle if allowed. He doesn't shy away from the dirty stuff but it's not a strength of his game. He uses his speed and size in an attempt to control the play.

Mitts = Puck mover, perimeter passer with ability to slow play down with his stick handling. He will dangle to the middle if allowed. He doesn't shy away from the tough game but it's not a strength of his.

A lot of similarities in their games.

Think Mitts is the big question and how much does he want on a LT Contract.

No one is like Ralph Krueger. He is on a tier of his own and shouldn't be compared to anyone with a pulse or IQ above 7.
