I don't really get that sentiment, especially when about 11mill is eaten up by those stupid 1yr deals. Sabres whole bottom 6 is a mess and Donnie is creating some of that himself by all the line juggling he has done.

Sabres being able to get points while icing substandard lineups is huge, but need some key players back ASAP.

It’s been a problem for years, in the same positions, by the same players, whatever contract they are on.

The one position of weakness that has shown improvement so far has been goaltending, which like the rest of the team remains inconsistent, but when it’s on, provides a chance to win games.

Last night and tonight are games a team expecting to make the playoffs wins.

As the season progresses and the pressure increases, the “just 1 year” players are going to cost valuable points.

Good on Levi, 2 more goals in that game and I’m $6,000 richer.
