Been a team wide commitment to defence at the expense of offence, but I mean I’d rather them be a defensive team as they have the finishing talent to score above expected and a large enough sample size to say they can do it consistently.

Would be more sustainable form of success and give them a better chance in the playoffs this year 😉

Guess you have to be a bit lucky to have a winning season.
Cozens does not look ready to be back. I like that meatballs finally gave greenway a look on the PP. the second unit it still the laughing stock of the league. 2 log players. Sometimes 3. Seriously. Does he have so little faith in our team that he has to put his “shutdown” 4th li e our for the second half of the PP so we don’t get caught when their guy comes out of the box?

I’m just not sold on him. No one seems to u understand their assignment. It’s a feee for all every shift. His use of personnel is questionable. His faith in players that have not earned it is questionable.

I think they’ll need to generate more offence to continue to sustain that as a regression at 5v5 could be around the corner.

Tuch getting healthy and Cozens getting off the struggle bus will go a long way with that.

Still kinks to work out, but many games to go to continue to improve.

The PP is a legitimate concern though. The Wild PK was the worst in the league coming into last night and they still couldn’t get anything going. A personnel switch could help, but I think a lot of that comes down to scheme too and Grannato/Ellis have a lot to own up to in that regard

At the same time though any U19 player that has played at the clip Kulich has never stayed in the AHL for longer then a cup of coffee.

I understand the defensive game could use improvement, but at some point you need to take the training wheels off and give him a shot on the big club.

Can’t imagine him being on the right flank on PP1 couldn’t make our PP any worse either

I want to give Kulich a look over Rosek since Rosek has proven to be completely ineffective and we have an offense gap with Tuch out.
I want the coach gone because the wins are not anything to do with his coaching. We could just as easily be 3-6-1 during that span. We got very lucky in several of those wins.
We’ve been out coached almost every game this year. He is so predictable and slow to react in game, even terrible teams eat us alive
