They need more than a goalie..

Don't tell them that, feed off their desperation.

Allen for Campbell and a 1st (maybe more)

for EDM they save 1.2M on the cap, get rid of a bad contract, acquire a better goalie.
for MTL they can send Campbell to Laval and ride Monty/Primeau. yes they have a 5M goalie in Laval, but they can call him up in case of an injury, not a chance they will lose him on waivers lol. and they get a 1st round pick. they could decide to keep Campbell in Laval for a few years as a backup plan, or buy him out in June.

LOL.

4 years (this one and 3 more) @$5M, so $4M in dead cap space on the Habs roster.

Brilliant move.

I’m buying an electric Liza oven that heats the pizza Sri e up to 800 degrees while cooking the pizza on too.

6 minutes dude!! And easier if you can find a place that sells the dough already!! Boom

Ok, Snots... If ya like spicy, I got a pie for ya to try:
Base sauce: Homemade harissa, made with either a tomato or roasted red pepper base, depending on preference.
Toppings: Lamb merguez sausage, goat cheese, cracked black pepper. (Fresh black figs would also be good, when in season)
Finish with some lightly dressed arugula, and maybe a drizzle of pomegranate molasses if you fancy.
Maybe not Italian, but that is a flavour bomb.

true, but for this season and the next one, the cost is not 5M, since they lose the 3.8M of Allen. so the cost is really 1.2M
after that they could trade Campbell retaining 50% or buy him out.
the important thing is that it would fix their problem with Primeau, and assure Dobes can stay in Laval in case of an injury to Monty. he could also learn from Campbell.

Lol, no worries. I'll shoot you my link for homemade harissa.
Make sure you get yourself a seperate "pizza" stone for meats. That kind of a high heat setting is also amazing for kebabs and the like. Once you make your own chicken tikka for butter chicken, you'll never go back to using plain chicken again.

You may get the Oilers happy to move on from Campbell, but you won't get the return you like. They'll say Allen's injury history makes him unreliable for the #1 spot. They make a big move like giving up their 1st, it'll be for a more stable goalie. And as Karine pointed out, we've already used 2/3 contract retention slots, so it's not as easy as a retain and flip scenario. The idea has merit, but it needs to be fleshed out a bit further before it's an appealing situation for our club.
