On a breakaway. He made the first save. Help him. The 3rd is awful. Legit terrible.

How does that matter?
The breakdown already happened. They did not help him. At that point, he has to help himself and not cushion the shot and leave the rebound close by. A solid snap of the pad sends that puck to the side boards. The top goaltenders work on this and are able to improve their situation all by themselves.
I'm certainly not absolving the PP of blame, just saying he did himself no favours on that one.

Is there any interest here in Conor Garland? The guy is relegated to play 10-12 mins a game. The more desperate the Nucks get to want to rid themselves of that contract, the cheaper it might cost us.

I just think Zibanejad looks off, but I not worried about him at all, notorious slow starter, it's fantastic that they are doing so well without him being himself yet, with Fox out, Shesterkin out

just get two more points sunday and enjoy a break

He’s redundant. We need a RW. And how good was the KZB line? Plus if we get him it has to be at 50% and we’d have him for another season after this. Cost would be high for that. Kakko? Anyone willing to do that?

I would prefer to keep Kakko to play on the 3rd line.

Lindholm might play C, but he also plays RW. With a small little adjustment to the top 6, it could work out quite well...

Bread, Mika, LAF
CK20, Chytil, Lindholm (Lindholm takes the faceoffs)
Cuylle, Trocheck, Kakko

Eh... whatever its all dumb until its not and something happens... or doesnt.

Wouldn't mind Buch or Garland, just not at those cap hits.

Reunion with Buch would be awesome. He’d probably be so happy to be back here too.

My mom is over helping with the kids and the replay of the game is on and I’m “predicting” everything that happens

Don’t know about y’all but Cuylle gives me a stiffy on a regular basis now. He’s been as advertised, not sure how he lasted til 60 was it? His draft year

He's good, slots perfectly on that line. Get him with Trocheck and/or Chytil and not Bonino and he'll get more points.

Kakko threw a spinaround pass to Bonino right infront of the net and MAF made a great save on him but you have to imagine if it were literally anyone else on the team who received that pass the puck would've went in.

Is Chytil due back after this 5 day break coming up? I assume he isn’t playing Sunday. Would be nice to have him vs NJ

I think if we get Lindholm, Chytil is going back the other way as part of the trade. Lindholm is going to be a center here...

Suppose they try Chytil on RW with Zib and Kreider? I’m pretty sure they played together last year, and/or previously. Obviously leaves a hole at 2 or 3C but that could be filled via trade too.

I don’t see the rangers trading Fil for a rental. Kakko maaaaaybe but probably not him either. Drury will do something tho he always does
