Once you have something in your head, its stuck there, there is no reasoning with you so Im not going to bother.
KK doesnt look slow to me. I havent heard anyone complain about his speed before. - Brukie

They need him to score goals, or at least set them up lol you guys are missing that point. - Slimtj100
No. You're missing the point that we have no cap space. That means no room for call ups without LTIR and no room for players from other teams. That's a reality that no one seems to want to be bothered with. Wheeler might put up a couple points. He might (more likely) get caved in and cost us goals against, too.
11 games. 11 fu cking games. People (including you and others here) have been clamoring for the kids to get top 6 minutes for 3 years and you want him back to the 3rd line after 11 games where his former all-star linemates haven't looked any better than him. It's truly remarkable.
KK is trying to figure out small changes to his game while playing against better competition and hasn't been a defensive liability AT ALL. Yet, somehow he's the biggest problem on this team? Can't make this stuff up.
If we were at the bottom of the standings, sure gotta make something happen. Right now, smoke a fu cking bowl and just enjoy the wins.
Much love, buddy!!!! |

To me fully healthy, Trocheck Cuylle and Kakko would be a formidable forechecking line. Kakkos game doesn’t complement two speed guys imo, he’s a forechecker by nature, like Trocheck and Cuylle are
I’m mister positive you know that, if I’m down on a guy it’s pretty extreme
Chytil struggled but came out of it, I hope he does but I’m losing faith in him |

I’m talking about switching 2 RWs, not trading him. BUT by the TDL I can’t see him being a ranger still if he doesn’t improve. Remember, they have a decision to make with him next season…and give him a raise. Are we really willing to do that with current Kaapo Kakko? I don’t think so |

Not as much anger hear as it sounds like, but...
you guys are all fucked.
Like Brukie said, we are off to one of the best starts in team history and sit in 1st place in the division. And, people want to make major changes because our young winger isn't scoring 10 games in?????? WT actual F?
He is not the worst he's ever looked. He is statistically fine outside of not scoring. His linemates are not producing 5v5, either. He is a +1, with 4 takeaways and 3 giveaways.
These are stats belonging to someone that is not putting the puck in the net, not someone who can't figure out how to play in the NHL.
This fanbase must ALWAYS have something to female dog about. Leave the fucking kid alone to figure shit out. He hasn't cost us anything. - Tonybere
I'm not angry at all, but the fact of the matter is he's a blackhole offensively.

How??? Please tell me how he is any worse offensively, 5v5, than Zibby or Kreider or Trocheck or Wheeler or Cullye or Goodrow or Lindgren or anyone else.
He, like the team outside of Bread and those on the ice with him on any given shift, has been a blackhole offensively. AND HE HAS YET TO COST US A WIN.
I am not angry at all while writing this. But, I just don't understand how anyone thinks this is the source of our problems. It is a symptom, not the cause.
We all seemed to agree that what this team needs more than anything else is growth from KK, Laffy and Chytil. But, no one wants to afford them the experience it takes to see that growth happen. And again, it's happening while not hurting us one bit, overall. |

That's great. Now try at 5v5, like I said I was talking about. It's even more skewed by your numbers because 6 of Mika's 9 points were on the PP, while the unit KK is seeing PP time on has been much less successful. |

I think they're mostly primary assists too
He's tied with his teammate Will Smith for 2nd in points for 18 and under in the NCAA. Only behind Celebrini, who is 17 |

I think where your argument falls apart is the previous years of success Kreider and Zib have had together. They are like a symphony out there at times, Kakko is bringing nothing out of them at 5 on 5 |

Im not thrilled with the way things are going with Kakko, but Im also not willing to make any changes if we are winning games. However, if by the end of November things still look stagnant on that top line, I believe some alterations need to be made. Because eventually, the inability to score 5v5 will begin to catch up to us. |

He did get drafted by the Sharks, so... hes probably not to thrilled about the prospect of where he will be playing in the future. |

They’ve really been two headed monster on special teams, and defensively and the goalies. That’s why they’ve won games. Offense has been a bit inconsistent, and a bit unlucky (offsides and waived off goals) |
