If that line was really going Kreider might be leading the league in total points - mdw7413
I mean 14 points in 14 games isn't enough for some people not to hate him. (Nobody here.) |

it's kakko's fault - Mtlca66
His problem is when he has the puck he can’t wait to get rid of it, like playing hot potato when we were kids. It’s quite frustrating. He’s passive and looks nervous to me |

Just have to hope Chytil gets the best out of him. They do have chemistry and it worked somewhat previously. I do think his clock as a ranger is ticking tho. He could be traded by the TDL or at the TDL. |

I'll put it too you this way, if Rangers went shopping for Keller and in return the Coyotes wanted Kakko, Othmann, a 1st and a minor asset, along with Goodrow: would you do it?
Because I think I would. And the only regret I would have would be Othmann. |

Nah I wouldn’t trade othmann. I’d trade Kakko for a highly regarded D prospect (maybe Drysdale?) I know he’s hurt but someone like that. Kind of underachieving guy like Kakko. I don’t think the first need line needs a superstar on it imo, or 7 million dollar guy like Keller |

That still wouldn't be enough to fit Keller's $7.15M on the books. We can propose these trades all day long. But, in the reality of our cap situation, I think we should be prepared to just be patient with KK and hope he breaks out.

Idk, it just seems like they trade all their high price talent at some point. Other than Shane Doan. |

there is actually a chance they'd trade him before next July 1st, that's when his full NTC kicks in

The coyotes gotta show me they are:
1. for real when it comes to winning
2. committed to keeping their home grown talent in spit of not winning. |

Yeah, but to Laviolette's credit. He tried that for a month and it didn't work. Now he's trying wheeler. (Also not working.) Where as gallant wouldn't try it all. So hard for to fault the coach and not player A and player B. |

yeah nothing to do w/ lav, give him credit for trying to get somethign working without putting the lines in a blender.
just so happy they won last night - that's a game they 100% loose in years past. had all the ingredients for a stinker; game before a long break, getting shafted on a clear goal.
zib needs to get right though. that was horrendous through all 3 periods, OT and the shootout.

Good morning all, thanks for carrying the blog in my absence. Have a week's worth of work, bills and life to get caught up on, including everything Rangers. I guess the Laf = bust talk has died down for the time being |

I agree, he needs to produce.
But, how do we not see the trend here... we said the same thing about Laffy, now you want to suck his cock for him. We said the same about Chytil and he's recently made big strides. We said the same about Buch and they traded him as soon as he got to the next level. We (not me) have female doged about having traded away guys like Miller, DuClair, Graves, Pionk, etc... and then seeing them take the next step somewhere else.
Like, at what point are we going to stop masturbating over what the grass looks like over the fence????
Cheer them on and hope for the best. That's my plan in it's entirety. |

I think the difference now is the rebuild has ended, and it’s full throttle and full speed ahead towards a championship now and we can’t wait any longer. I would agree with you if that wasn’t the case.
Like I said, Cuylle Chytil and Kakko line could be a nightmare to play against so that’s where I’m hanging my hat with Kakko. If that doesn’t work I’d expect Kakko traded sometime this year. Ask yourself is he worth 4 something million bucks right now? I say hell no because he needs a new deal next year. You’re right tho, this is the same thing that happen with Fil. But he did it and Kakko hasn’t yet |

Jimmy got me and my son tickets for my bday vs SJ December 3rd. Chase bridge seats haven’t sat there yet - Slimtj100
I'm a season ticket holder on the bridge- third season there. If you are in the first row, its one of the best views in the house. you lose no ice at all and see all the plays develop.
You would think the refs had money down Columbus- to the point- WTF!?

I'm fully onboard with putting KK, Chytil and Cullye together when Fil is ready to go!! To me, that is a logical next step to trying to get Kakko to where we want to see him. These are the sorts of things that make sense to me, over the "change of scenery" avenue.

I agree with that, find a spot for him before trading him. I just don’t see the org waiting on him much longer. Jmo |
