The Hockey gods are a fickle lot.

Somehow, the eighth-seeded Montreal Canadians make it to the finals riding an amazing tender, a stud number Dman, and good team defense. It was similar to last year with Florida. Same with with St. Loius. Colorado was a little different, but from what I recall, they still played a good defensive game.

A good player can win you a couple of series, but a good goaltender can win you a cup. But how many consistent goaltenders are there?

The Oilers are too good to be losing this many games. Something will shift and they will go on a heater. But not sure the way they are currently constructed that they will win a cup.
