So, third line of
Robertson-Domi-Kane? - Canada Cup
Think Järnkrok could lift Reaves out of the cement he is on that 4th line RW?
Gregor is too fast he’ll skate away |

It's OK, we'll have Liljegren and Klingberg on the back end. |

Why the frank would anyone ever watch Scottish football?
It's been almost 40 years since a team other than Rangers or Celtic won it.
It's been almost 60 years since neither team was in the final.
In 127 years, Rangers have won it 55 times, Celtic 53 times, and the rest of the league has won it 19 times.
What the hell is the point in even watching? - Atomic Wedgie

Probably had something to do with the fact he was born and raised in Glasglow .
Christ there is probably a Glasgow Rangers internet "BUZZ" board over there where someone is saying "Why the hell would anyone watch the Toronto Maple Leafs" right now and firing off a pretty impressive list as to why it's stupid to do so.

Learn hockey, idiot. And also learn that a good player coming back into the lineup pushes bad players down and out of the lineup.

Just watched that. Canada is missing talent like this. I would actually watch the intermission. - bryant
I was still sick as a dog on Monday when watching the game but I'm pretty sure he was on the panel on Sportsnet in the intermission.
I remember thinking "OMG I hope he's on as a regular"!

- Dozzer
Given that Klingberg has been on the ice for 14 of our 30 5v5 goals against, leads the team in HD Chances against, is carrying a team worst (amongst defenders) xGF of 42% - it seems like addition by subtraction. Christ - put Reaves in his place and I bet it would be better.
The only player on this team to play any number of minutes with Klingberg and have better results with Klingberg as opposed to without is Matthew Knies. Everyone else is made worse by his presence. That is damning AF.
I have been a Leaf fan for nearly 50 years and I can say - with probably some hyperbole - that I've probably never disliked a Leaf player as much as Klingberg. I mean there's so many guys who have come in and been crappy or let us down . . . or guys who didn't want to suck, but just did - whether it was Gardiner, Marincin, Holl, Murphy, Toskala, Kidd, Khristich, the 1980s, I don't know . . . but this guy is
in special company ahead of those names for me. |

OK, I'll play.
The Athletic lists five teams:
Rangers
Panthers
Red Wings
Sabres
Leafs
Now according to various sources at various times, here's what's important to Kane:
- winning another Stanley Cup
- multi-year contract
- playing close to Buffalo, because apparently his dad is terrified of flying (feel free to correct me if I've got this one wrong).
Rangers, Panthers and Leafs are the only ones with a legitimate shot this year.
Panthers are too far.
Rangers are 6-7 hours away by car in the winter.
So the Leafs are two hours away, and although struggling right now, have a legit shot.
How did I do? - Atomic Wedgie
A legit shot at what
Kane?
Cup?
Cause with their D, not sure a shot at the cup is in the cards.
But ita still early, not even 20 games. |

I did like 'the Klingdenberg' that I saw coined earlier. That was excellent.
Funny - I had originally typed, "I can say - without hyperbole. . . ." and then when I typed 'Toskala' I went and edited that sentence!

McCabe is a game time decision. They could sit Reaves and go with 11-7 in which case, Klingberg could be 7th. They could replace Reaves with Holmberg and go 12-6 in which case, Klingberg probably sits. |

Do you guys sincerely believe that sitting Reaves is the solution to their losing?
Because it’s not, at all. |

Why is being the solution to losing the criteria for deciding if he sits or not? If it improves the team to sit, he should sit. Obviously, the cap implications (none right now) and the fact that he’s a new arrival will factor in but improve where you can. |

Depends on your definition of improvement. There are many out there who sees their “powerhouse” forwards playing with more confidence because they know here is finally someone on the bench who can fight for them properly.
Not his fault the coach isn’t using him properly.
Imo, especially in playoff time, he’s precisely the guy they’ve been missing. |

I think you'll see him dressed a few games here and there during the playoffs.
Doubt he plays the majority of the games though.
