Years ago, I went to a Leafs game that had some weird promotion with Robin Thicke.
After the game, hopped on the subway and Alan Thicke was standing next to me, happily chatting with his friends.
It was so bizarrely Canadian.

When I lived in Calgary, my Uber rich aunt used to ride the train into downtown every morning to work, mix in with the commoners. Canada is so far behind on public transit. We at least need a high speed rail from coast to coast. |
