And I've really liked Donny from the start, this is a crying shame. He's great at developing guys, that's obvious. It's just crazy how little he knows about in game coaching. Everything, from line choices to things as simple as when to call a time out, is just off. I'm waiting to see Okposo on the 1st line again...

Relying on the wrong players, sometimes you have to finally trust the younger players to move your Team forward.

I'd like to see the Sabres model their PP after Tamp's:
Wall Guy - Stamkos , Tage
Set-up DMan - Heddy, Dahlin
Dman - Cernak, Power
Distributing F - Kucherov, ?(Benson, Mitts?)
Net Front - Point, ? (Tuch, Quinn?)((Sam R would be perfect))

there is no way to develop that third line if we have 2 or 3 larry's for him to lean on that can't score

That almost always means playing veterans over young players, and especially rookies.

Seems similar to how McD game manages when things are tense.

Unless that experience is in a tight game or against good competition then they will sit on the bench and watch and not learn and not grow and not gain the on-ice experience.
