Depends how much the players hate McDermott. All indications were that the Raiders despised that smarmy fück
But it's a pipe dream. Unless McDermott pulls a Rex Ryan and forces Pegula's hand he's here for at least the rest of the season - Wetbandit1
I still think they'll turn it around and some point and look respectable. I don't think they'll be "out of it" by the Dallas game. I think it would take like a 7-10ish finish for them to even consider a McDermott firing.

funny, the still pic didn’t capture the vapor trail behind the ball.
Not saying he shouldn’t be expected to catch it, just saying that pass was a rocket. - Ratsreign

High School coach running a highschool offense with high school preparation. Not to mention the guy looks like a highschool teacher.
McDermott fvcked this team hiring Dorsey. |

Players should take some blame to, not like a lot of drives weren't killed by dropped passes or stupid penalties. |

He wasn't throwing it to me, some random Joe.
He threw it to a professional receiver who is wearing stick 'em gloves.
If he needs it handed to him on a silver platter, what is ne doing playing professional football? |

So much Allen nonsense going around, including that he can't handle throwing anything other than rockets, which is of course complete and total bullpoop. |

Dorsey had his problems, but Josh and the players need to eat some of this to. Said earlier think McD has lost the room. Coaches get stail. |

He doesn't do as well throwing floaters as he does throwing full force. His touch isn't as consistent there. Do you disagree?
I still think he's a top5 QB. But that is one area he isn't at the top of the mark, unlike everything else. |

His only partial struggle has been the deep ball, and I don't think it's a coincidence that it aligns with his pair of arm injuries. |

We've got a season and a half of mostly the same thing. Inconsistent, forced, no identity, easy to defend. Doesn't mean every bad play is on him, but he was bad.
Did you see the Patrick Peterson quotes popping up from last year? On his game-winning interception, he said based on where Gabe lined up, he runs 2 routes and he knows almost instantly which it is. I'm sure that wasn't the only time.

Can't wait to hear all the nonsense about okposo's great leadership tonight
Already seen on Twitter about how without him there would be no turnaround. Give me a break ffs there has been no turnaround. Are they better than 3 years ago yes, it has nothing to do with okposo
12 years and counting without playoffs, puked on themselves multiple times last season and missed by 1 point. Then the GM saddles his coach again with a handful of players who shouldn't be here anymore, okposo being at the top of the list
Hope they actually show up tonight |

He wasn't much of a leader when they really needed him to be.
When KA took over, they didn't lack talent. |

Plenty of blame to go around, but the McD press conferences all season have been the same: We need to execute better.
Reminds me of when Ralph would say after a game that the team needs to stick to the principles they believe in, as they know those principles work.
The next game would be another ugly loss, and he would say the exact same thing.
Rinse, repeat.
At a certain point, fresh tactics are needed, especially if the team isn't executing at a high enough level.
They need plays that the team has a better chance of executing, and having success without a 100% execution level. |

If they lay an egg tonight perhaps that will close the book on how much he leads and how much the team 'adores' him |

What I keep seeing if an over-reliance on option routes. We see their favorite plays so often we know what they are doing. Every DC in league must see it too. Doesn't that make it really easy to bait them into things? Sure felt like it. |
