probably a fractured hand/wrist and he's like 3-4 weeks.

im not in the mood to care today. but no. the system changes when the coach changes. they spent months on this system and they, as a whole, can't figure out how to be a strong transition team.

there's teams with less talent doing more with the puck. there's work to be done on the roster, but not 30th ranked xGF work.

It's amazing how he's really turned a few players around, is great at developing, but is equally as bad at actually formulating structure during games. You're right, they're playing pond hockey in the offensive zone and can't beat a 1-3-1 to save their lives. PP is non existent.

Out of curiosity, because I go back and forth, would you try getting him some better assistant coaches first? I think that's what I'd prefer, taking some pressure off him, but can see either way.

His poor roster/game management goes back to January, I only say then because that's when the Sabres started to show some life as a group.

That life is now gone, Adams pissed away a season to let Okposo get 1,000 games. It's not wild to think he will make that happen with Girgs.

This organization continues to search for solutions from a position of weakness,

Meatball, the prospect whisperer is failing:

- The fab 5
- Levi
- UPL
- Krebs
- Rousek
- Biro

That's 10 players Adams provided to try to round out the team, I don't agree with his choices but the ball of meat is making lineups that completely ignore that group or if forced, give them as little opportunity as possible. There is a clear disconnect between roster construction and usage.

think im done with granato. i really like him but there are teams with less actual talent taking it to this team day in and day out. their scoring is awful and they cant figure out how to get into position to shoot, or even shoot at all. i could go on, but i dont feel like it. kevyn wont be hasty but the talent is here to not suck.

PP is 3rd worst in the league since half way last year.



He didn't use his time out 2 goals and 5 minutes in yesterday and he left Levi in net on the 5 goal and didn't replace him until Buffalo scored to make it 5-1 which is bizarre. I don't think I have ever seen a goalie replaced when their own team scores which makes it look amateurish

At the moment I just don't see real coaching being done.

There's more at play than Granato here, with Adams signing leaders in heavy decline to play large minutes. I know we have injuries, but we have an unplayable 3rd line. Like how is that supposed to happen.

There are personnel problems, underperforming players, but the players are not creating problems for other teams. They're getting steamrolled often, and the talent vs the results does not line up.

I'd happily listen to a pro-coaching argument. But I don't see it.

Look at Arizona who made changes in their offseason.
Both of those teams are progressing while Buffalo is regressing. Its not a good sign.
