I agree with you clown. Screw trying to teach them defense. They don’t have the players or the coaches to play d . Anyway run and gun hockey is more fun to watch. If they aren’t going to win at least make it fun to watch.
This team it’s like putting a round peg in a square hole. |

Well if he's hired into a higher position, say like HC then it's pretty easy as long as he wants it. I can tell you I have met a few players that were in Rochester with him and they were very disappointed he left. Players listened because he had done it. - Buff36

I'm sickened by the performance of the Sabres and Bills as I'm sure most of us are.. Clown, from your posts it almost seems you revel in the failure?? - turbo044
Clown has hated Adams since his source got fired or left the Sabres.
You can definitely tell the difference between his posts from before his source left to current times. |

they were not special last year and folded down the stretch
based on my 40 years plus of watching hockey, it was easy to tell they had to do a lot of work to get to the level of say tampa, leafs, devils, rangers, let alone bruins panthers or canes
the goal should be to compete for the cup not try to limp to the 8th seed
scoring regression could happen which myself and others pointed out and any suggestion of a dip in the standings this year was considered CRAZY TALK
then the summer and lack of serious upgrades did not happen
adding clifton and subtracting bush was just a shuffle of the chairs on the deck IMO
the coach and gm have been very conservative and the only real trades were moving out pieces that were going to walk and the eichel chaos
I have never seen a group of top end talent mesh as crappy as this organization has over the last 7 or 8 years. This is a draught of epic levels , easily the longest playoff draught in the history of the game.

If Bills miss the playoffs, fire McDerp and offer Harbaugh the most lucrative contract for a head coach ever.

Why Harbaugh, what type of game-plan would he bring to the Bills? |

This is pretty wild, Adams has trouble making a Lineup Decision you think he could pull this off. Guy would have a Stroke. Plus when did the cap hit 100mill. |

None of it will happen, that would be roughly the cost to acquire solid depth though. |

True, but Adams needs to wake up and have more Conversations, because there will be players available that can help us. And some probably could be had sooner than later. |

Most likely the conversations will remain internal and Adams will spend his time nurturing the safe environment he has built for his players. He went all in on this, there is no other plan.

Fixes that need to happen now. Clearly the season is lost, so let’s get the damage control out of the way, then look for trade possibilities.
Levi needs to be sent down,
ASAP before he is completely ruined. Find any goalie for now.
Benson needs to be sent back to Jr’s before he is also ruined.
I’m fine with R Johnson getting some time because he is more seasoned.
Fire your farking coach or GM, or both. Need to send a message, let the fans know this shat is not acceptable. |

Lindholm and Andersson would be a really good get at this point. Yes Lindholm is a UFA but he could help us in so many ways. And Andersson would set are pairs up Nicely and is signed for 2 more years after this one. We have the Assets to really make for a good Conversation with Calgary. We could really help them jump start there Rebuild and it wouldn't decimate ours. |

Don't get it, all nice having such good internal growth. But you also need to find those finishing pieces from outside, especially with the way the Organization is built. 85% of are prospects are built in the same mold. |

Yes, we have no complementing cast. Look at the teams who’ve struggled in the past couple years who are successful now. They added the right complementing pieces |

Might be Funny, but that's why I think Kozak will fit nicely at 4C. He has those different intangibles that other prospects don't have. And with the long term deals already signed and if they extend Mitts. He might actually be a piece that fits better when all is said and done than one of are Higher end prospects. |

Agree. 4th line needs the most work; then 3 rd line, second:
We need 3 new players for 4th. No one on active roster is a good 4th line player currently.
3 rd line will depend on who we can acquire to bolster the 2nd line, but could use an upgrade. We need real centers that can actually win face offs.
