Rosen's game looks to be ahead Defensively in the games I have seen. Think from the Beginning of last year to now, Rosen has Developed very nicely and maybe even more than Kulich.

Calgary could get more from a playoff/contending team by the deadline. That trades brings nothing to them for a team preparing for a rebuild.

It's hard to know from a distance how much Rosen is benefiting from Kulich. Maybe it's the other way around, but it doesn't sound like that's the case.

At some point soon, you just have to say the production demands an NHL job and he'll learn there. We're talking about him replacing VO. There's a terrible irony to that.

Sabres.. conceptually.. are a team on the rise, and he can have a prominent bottom 6 role and be actually useful. Considering most teams don't have the room for him this season, the Sabres could get the lead here.
