Ty Anderson: Bruins lose to Habs for first time in over four years

It was Boston’s first loss to the Canadiens since Nov. 5, 2019.

Four years and ten games is a pretty unbelievable in division streak. I would be curious the last time a streak like that existed between an in division rival.

Four years is a bit misleading owing to COVID related scheduling anomalies but 10 games is a long run, no doubt. As an old man, I recall a 24 game undefeated streak favouring the Habs at the old Forum vs Boston in the 70s and I’d be surprised if there wasn’t a ten game streak in there (the Habs won a fair bit at the old Garden in the 70s as well).

I think it was slight contact, nothing that would have prevented him from acting unimpeded. I think he sold it after the fact.

My problem is the non-call on the slash on Marchand.
Not only did Chris Lee miss the call, but his vagina was hurt from
Marchand’s complaining.

Chris Lee has been the worst ref in the NHL for more than a decade.
