No, but if someone were to call you, I don't know, say, a moron....now THAT would be name calling. Or if they saw someone replied to 4 or 5 posts in rapid succession and called them unhinged. That would be name calling.

Wait until you learn about metaphors!!

Your team is STILL owned by the habs when it counts.

Oh dear. Supplemental english education might prove difficult when combining it with short term memory loss. We seem to be repeating ourselves.

Might I recommend some Ginko Biloba or Neuriva Plus to assist in remembering the things you say. If you get ahead of it now, you might be able to offset early onset dementia.

too soon to trade DeBrusk? They're not gonna have cap space for him next year anyway, or wait until he scores a second goal and people think he's on fire.

I hate to break this to you but Chicago was also getting owned by the Canadiens in the 50s, 60s, 70's... Is that when the NHL counted? When Montreal had free reign on talent?

Hate to break this to you but Chicago and Boston have the same amount of hardware so why is this the hill you die on?

Seems like he is having a rough time getting it going this year in the O zone. He has been ok on the defensive side of things, but he needs to start shooting the puck.

He would almost certainly be a consideration for not only young player value but to get some cap space to bring in any piece Sweeney might be considering. (if he is considering anything)

Dude is not worth it. Just trying to encourage him to get some education so that maybe he can earn his Window-Licking certificate. Then he can ride the bus without a helmet on.

Pretty good showing last night. Clearly let off the gas after going up 5-0 and they need to be careful with that. Monty's right on the rush defense though, goalies are bailing us out way too many times.

Ullmark's poke check was really fun to see, but made me pucker just a bit haha. Great game. Was also good to see Lindholm get on the board. He has had a slow start to the year.

So while this is still a Habs game thread:

Typical game in Montreal. Ridiculous amount of referee bullpoop. Absolute soft serve.

Nice bounce back in Buffalo.

And unless there is some odd switchup in the rotation, it means Sway will get his shot at revenge on Saturday.

Edit: and who knows, maybe he will get a shot at a fight with Montembeault.

Let Ullmark do the goalie fight. I dont think Swayman deeds to risk injury with the way he is playing.

It's Gallagher that deserves the beating. But that's business as usual.

Maybe DeBrusk should do it. Might jumpstart the scoring.

his game hasn't been completely awful, got 4 helpers and he's a plus 5 while on the penalty kill, but man, forget about scoring, he's not even shooting, he's got like 2 shots a game.

I have had no issues with his defensive game. You're right though, he just isn't firing the puck. Needs to just start lobbing pucks at the net.

He's hitting the back of the net at 3% right now with only 30 shots on goal taken. Of course he hit the post the other night so that doesn't count. But he was one of the two shootout goals (which of course don't count in any game stats) in the most recent shootout win. A number of his goals last year were on the top PP unit and he has been replaced there by JVR. Yes, would love more offense from him, and suspect that will come, but in general I have no issues with his game overall.

Yeah I feel for the kid this time. He's not been a passenger. Doing the right things, doing the little things and getting no pay off yet. I'd be frustrated as hell if I was him.

100% agree. In previous years these scoring slumps would impact every aspect of his game. He seems to have finally realized he can still contribute in other ways and be impactful...the goals will come. Suspect maybe a year of playing directly alongside Bergy might have worn off on him.

Wonder what his next contract will look like? Thinking he might get something close to what Tampa gave Hagel
