xChaos/60 was too high this season for it not to happen, they were beating the odds as it were the past few weeks

No Soucy (foot). No Myers. Recalled Hirose on practice ice at UBC. #Canucks

We gave up a second to get rid of Stillman, and a third to get Dermott for 18 games, so how much of an overpayment can it be?

I don't believe Vancouver was on the Stanley cup contenders list instead it was Colorado.

QH 40 to 1 to win the Hart. Might be a decent bet to make. Realistically, how many players are ahead of him do you think?

If Pettersson gets over 100 points he won't win it. Split votes. I think odds are low of any Canuck winning honestly, if they continue to play the way they have, Demko will get consideration too

According to the stats people this team is going to nose dive so none of that matters.

As yes, the omnipotent force that is "stats people" 👻

Good thing everyone who *looks at stats* all agree with each other.

I look at it this way. Some people need to be showed how to sit back to watch and enjoy a hockey game and others can just do it. I could care less about advanced stats, but those of them that need them or enjoy them then knock yourselves out.

A couple of us older people just sit back and enjoy the game and are just as correct as the people who are selling you their swampland and telling you what you should be looking for . Choose to follow them or not, your choice.

I would never argue that anyone needs to read into stats or advanced stats to enjoy hockey, but refusing to acknowledge their usefulness in understanding the game is just silly. There's a reason those stats graphics are sprinkled through every broadcast you watch.

I don't need anything to enjoy a game other than my big screen TV and comfy ass couch

I like reading into advanced stats and analytics after the games, or whenever interesting stuff pops up in my Twitter feed. It's really not an either or situation.

You don’t “need” any stats to just sit and enjoy a game. I don’t think any fans sit on their computer and dissect stats while the games ongoing. That’s for the Thomas Drance and social media types. To post on X.

For fans imo it’s just a way of looking ahead or behind, between games, as a predictor to see how they’re measuring up.

Nothing beats a big ole comfy couch with a cold drink sitting there watching your team, or one of your teams lol, all the while throwing foam bricks at your 80 inch screen.
