Penguins were a two player team for a few years during the end of Shero and Bylsma. Bylsma was even playing them together on the same line in his last postseason series against NYR in 2014. Letang is way underrated for how good he was. Far better than any dman in EDM. His injuries derailed his career accomplishments. If he remained healthy, he would have easily won the 2013 Norris and at least been a top 3 contender in 2016. Alas, he's played a single full season in his career (2011, same season Malkin and Crosby were both injured the entire year lol).

Letang is a beast! He trains in the same gym sometimes during the summers and he is all out all the time! I've not seen many guys work as hard as him! One of the best Dmen to ever play in the NHL in my books. |

If you go back over their careers of Crosby, Malkin, and Letang, the Penguins win% dropped the most when isolated on games of Letang being out versus the other two. I actually think no Letang was a larger win% decrease than both Malkin and Crosby being out. And all of them were injury prone. |
