Edit:it’s 4 minutes and change. It’s so dumb to compare the two because they’ve been in completely different circumstances.

ES pts: 127 for Tim playing first line minutes. 90 for Laf playing 3rd line minutes. This is a gigantic factor 🤷🏻‍♂️he’s also -45 career so that’s brings him down a smidge at least doesn’t it? Laf is +8

If an average shift is 30 seconds (probably more) hes also gotten about 10 more shifts, give or take, a game over Laf since they entered the league. It’s a dumb argument because it’s not the same for both guys

I don’t hate it. When 3 v 3 started it was some of the most exciting hockey you could ever see. Last few years it’s been nothing but puck control for 5 minutes and wait until the end to try and score. I’ve thought about almost like a play clock, u have 30-45 seconds to shoot and if u don’t u have to dump it in and get out of the zone. Might be an unpopular decision but I can’t stand watching them skate the puck into their own zone 5 times before they try and do something with the puck.

I don’t think they have to change the way the game is played just change how many pts you get for the game .1 pt each for tie in regulation , 2 pt for 3 on 3 win and 1 for shoot out win. This way you don’t change rules of how the game is played.

I think the league gets its own way at times. 4 on 4 OT is the way to go. Much less space to just hold the puck for eons before anything happens. I kinda like watching the plays develop 3 on 3 tho, and the patience they have waiting for something to open up

The NHL has bigger problems then OT is what I would say. The officiating is horrid this year. Torontos decisions aswell. Not just saying for my team, but the whole league. I watch most games on my regular cable to see it

HHOF class this year was pretty weak.

Feels like theyre selecting people for the sake of it.
