He and Atkinson have impressed. I think coots is an underrated player tbh. Over the years, the team has struggled mightily when he’s been out. He’s a very important cog and 2 way player.

His value is not lower, the market might not be there but his value is not lower. It’s an asinine statement. If someone offered a crap package for him the flyers won’t accept. They’ll have an opportunity at the deadline and in the offseason. His value has not changed, if anything it’s higher.

Simple. If he keep this up and scores 40, then trade him at this upcoming draft if the org agrees with your assessment. I think he’s got a lot of value.

Or the reality. One of the team's top scorer's gets off to a slow start for a couple of games. Scratch him for 6 games. A 4th line part time player new to the team is struggling offensively. " I need to move him up the lineup to get him going".

Depends on our window. Someone might take him in a trade before then but he has a long injury history. I was quite sure that he would be the next captain after g left.
