Patrick Kane did probably have a hand in covering up sexual assaults, so he's good for that. |

Jan, what do you think is the eventual outcome for Kakko? Trade? Ride it out? I’m sure the patience thing is how you feel, but how much more patience do we give |

I think they give it till the New Year. He is an RFA after the year but has arb rights, which will certainly impact their view moving forward. If the team stays hot and the "new" third line of Cuylle-Chytil-Kakko is playing well, then no changes will occur. If they have to replace Chytil, Kakko could be a casualty of that decision. |

I agree first and for most is getting a 3rd line in tact like that. If Kakko can blossom there then we keep him.
Trade I predict-
Lindholm for Kakko and Jones in some form (any retention, picks, sweeteners, etc). That kind of deal works for the Rangers if he can be re-signed (like Horvat to the Isles trade). Flames may get better offers but they’re getting 2 NHL ready guys, and I’d have to bite the bullet if they wanted a first included. Lindholm is probably the best fit out there for the Rangers to target imo
The question would be, what does Lindholms extension look like 🤔 |

Id put it in the realm of Couturier, as I believe theyre very similar players and similar ages for extension. So Id guess it will be between 7.5-8m per year. Because its NYC and all the taxes, Ill put it closer to 8. |

I guess buying out Goodrow would 100% have to happen. Kakko would make about 4-4.5 next season, so that gets it close. It’s doable |

If the Flames were to go that route they will want rebuilding pieces, prospects and picks not duds. Im assuming you are trading KK because he isnt producing and Jones because he looks terrible so far. Besides they will most likely want a Center in return. |

Carolina has given up 52 goals this season but re-signing Tony DeAngelo is just a coincidence
